《Bang Bang》令人联想起Wham!的《Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go》，而且它的整体结构与《Lady Marmalade》类似，但它缺少《Lady Marmalade》的那种歌手之间水乳相融的感觉，虽是演唱者们的首次“合作”，但是Jessie J高亢气长的高音、爱莉安娜·格兰德招牌式的“海豚高音”、妮琪·米娜的高速说唱，这些特色似乎无法形成一个整体。
《Bang Bang》的MV由汉娜·力士·戴维斯执导，于2014年7月29日至30日全天在美国洛杉矶拍摄，首播于2014年MTV音乐录像带奖的颁奖典礼。MV中，三位演唱者各自从不同的地方出发，汇聚在一栋楼的屋顶上，和人们一起载歌载舞。
